Toyota is a world's re-known company famous for its variety and quality automotive manufacturing. Toyota is a Japanese limited liability company (business corporative / Kabushika Geisha Company) registered as Toyota Motor Corporation. Toyota is a multinational automobile manufacturer headquartered in Toyota, Aichi, Japan and was founded by Kiichiro Toyoda in August 28, 1937. Toyota held a competition for the establishment of the logo in 1936. 27,000 entries were received out of which the one selected that resulted in a change of its label to "Toyota" from "Toyoda". Later in 1989, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the company, the new logo appeared in Toyota Celsior car which was comprised of three ovals to form the letter "T" which is the current emblem for Toyota cars. The two ovals (to form "T") of the new logo represents the trust and relationship between the company and the customers while the third surrounding oval represents the globally expansion of the company.

Toyota was ranked first as a manufacturer of cars, with 8.6 million units produced globally. Toyota had always marketed their products with the focus putting emphasis on quality and giving outclasses driving experience to its customers.

As a company, Toyota had followed the strategy which involves customer care, research and improvement. Toyota managerial values and methods of the business are known as The Toyota Way which is comprised of teamwork, thinking, problem solving, development and respect for the people.

Toyota group have another known division named, "Lexus" which was introduced in 1989 in USA with 100% ownership. Later, Lexus became popular globally and became the largest selling premium Japanese car. Lexus itself is ranked top ten among the largest global Japanese brands in terms of market value. Daihatsu Motors Company was also acquired with a share capital of 51.2% in March 31, 2006.

In 2012, Toyota production totaled 9,909,440 units with 9,748,000 selling units. The company is operating with the new assets of 30.650 trillion JPY and operating income of 355.62 billion JPY. The company made a profit of 283.55 billion JPY from the revenue of 18.583 trillion JPY in 2012. Toyota group subsidiaries companies are 522 and a total of 300,747 employees.
