Overview of Mercedes CLK

Not all new cars out there as much attractive as the Mercedes CLK. It is a brave and looks gorgeous. The external length of the CLK is 4.57 meters at least eight centimeters above the C-Class, but it is soothing 23 centimeters shorter than an E. Mercedes-Benz CLK-class is a family vehicle with extensive features that makes it more appealing after its appearance. Models of Mercedes CLK include 550, 500, 430, 320, 270, 240, 230, 220, 200.

 

Mercedes CLK320The Mercedes CLK was first presented in January 1997 at the Detroit Auto Show. Despite the outward similarity of the E class and Mercedes CLK, the technical infrastructure of the CLK is more powerful.  The model CLK comes with a compact four cylinders 2.0 liter as well as 2.3 liter engine. The powerful v6 cylinder 3.2 liter as well as v8 4.3 liters came later.

 


Appearance of CLK for Sale

The coupe CLK has a big-eyed appearance, hardtop body without the central racks, arrow-shaped profile, wide doors without window frames under the large arched windows and small triangular air vents for the rear passengers. Despite the lack of B-pillars, it achieved a good level of protection in a side impact which received through the use of powerful body crossbars and additional stiffeners in the doorway. The drag coefficient was reduced to 0.28: it is a little worse than the sedan (0.26), but significantly better than the nearest competitor. If you omit all four windows and the hatch in the roof open, it creates the impression that youre in a convertible.


Interior of Mercedes CLK

The interior of the Mercedes CLK comes with wooden skin and many other pleasant things such as remote controlled curtains rear window or multi-contour seats with inflatable several cameras that support various sensitive parts of the body. Furthermore, all controls, starting from the handle automatic transmission and ending with high-beam control system, are at the usual places, and even have the usual form.


The instrument panel with real analog clock and vertical thermometer reserve fuel and coolant temperature borrowed from the E-class. The center console and the gear lever moved a single block with the C-Class sedan.  Opening access to the rear seats, the front seats not only recline but also depart simultaneously forward and lifted. The seats have plenty of room for two people. Moreover, material of the interior is elegant and expensive to make it look more appealing from inside. Everything is on its place in the Mercedes CLK.
