It was the year 1985 that the GT four Concept was introduced in Tokyo Motor Show. The vehicle is the high performance model of Celica lift-back manufactured to compete in (World Rally Championship) WRC. These vehicles are called homologation special, because they are purpose built to meet the series sanction body.

The body belongs to the sports class that came as a 3 door lift back to support the rally racing requirement.
