Mazda Titan is an efficient truck, made by the well-known automaker Mazda, for commercial use. The Titan is still in production after seeing its inception in 1971. Though, the fourth to sixth generations of Mazda Titan were re-launched with a different name of Isuzu Elf, the rebadged version.  In the January of 1964, Mazda actually entered the middle sized truck market with the introduction of the Mazda E2000. On the introduction of the truck, there was a standard bed followed by a three-way dropside beds.

But in this segment Mazda has achieved considerable success - a well-known brand of Titan. Those trucks are not lost on the road, using a well-deserved popularity. There are several variants of the Mazda Titan. The carrying capacity of all such models varies, ranging between 1.5 to 4.25 total weights tonnes with 3.5-7 m. Every Mazda consists of the axles inclusive trucks or rather a rear wheel drive. The dimensions of the overall body of Mazda Titan fall between the 3000 mm x 1600 mm for trucks with 1.5 tonnes worth of carrying capacity.


3.5-liter engine capacity replaced the 1.5-litre engine capacity for the 1.5-tonne crane Titan in 1993. But 1994 saw a fresh VS 3.0L model. Beyond 1995, Mazda has been installing diesel options in their trucks starting from rebadged Isuzu, the 4HF1 and 4HG1.


Mazda Titan Features

Equipped with a 4.8-litre diesel engine, the new Titan meets the strict criteria to qualify as an environmentally friendly vehicle. Additionally, the driver can perform gear shifting without the use of the clutch pedal, courtesy of the Smoother R manual transmission technology. The vehicle also has installed a special filtering system, DPD (Diesel Particulate Defuser).

The new Mazda Titan comes well equipped with all the necessary technological requirement of an advanced truck. The exterior body is typical like any other truck, nothing innovated in that. The front side of the truck is big and quite low so that the driver can have a good view of the road. The bumper and headlights are quite wider than usual.

Keeping in mind it is a commercial truck for the purpose of heavy carriage transport, the Mazda Titan surprisingly offers quite remarkable fuel consumption. Compared to its competitor trucks, the Mazda Titan stands tall in terms of fuel efficiency.
