Daihatsu rocky is a small sport utility vehicle that was initially produced and launched between 1987 and 1998. The vehicle is known as Lovibond, Sportrak and Feroza DAIHATSU ROCKYin some parts of the world. The vehicle had to undergo transformation over the period of two generations to remain competitive and updated in the market.


First Generation Daihatsu Rocky Models

The first generation was from 1989 to 1993. The first generation Daihatsu rocky models included features such as: sixteen valve four cylinder engines, power range between 75 and 105 PS, three door body, grille with chromed unit and mounted tail lights.


Second Generation Daihatsu Rocky Models

The second generation of the vehicle transformation was from 1994 to 1999. The features that eventually included in the vehicle were: 16 valve 1.6 liter multi injected engine, 95/105 PS engine and Bertone free climber 2.


Power Train

The Daihatsu Rocky is a small sport utility vehicle with a 1.6 liter four cylinder engine. The engine delivers a moderate 94 horse power and turbocharged for efficient performance over distances. The vehicle is equipped with a five speed manual transmission that makes it a suitable car for the new drivers. The Daihatsu Rocky can be operated in either a two wheel drive or four wheel drive mode option. The car runs on unleaded gasoline fuel type with minimum CO2 emissions and balanced handling.
