Every day except off days.
Is there any way to get an indicative selling price for a vehicle I am interested in?
Yes, the data of auction held recently is the best place to get an idea of prices of vehicles that
have been sold over the last 3 months.
Is their any grading for cars and how can I know what the grading means?
All the cars are graded by various auction houses. You can see the meaning of every grading by
clicking the link on the top of auction page.
Does your company staff inspect the cars before bidding?
We have highly professional staff that personally inspects the cars. Before they decide to bid, they
ensure if they are of correct description and condition just according to auction information.
How many used vehicles are normally available in your Stock and in auction?
Usually we have more than a thousand used cars in our regular stock. Moreover, you can have access to
around 150,000 cars a week available at different online auctions we cover. Usually we have 2 to 3 RORO Ships and 4 to 5 Container
Shipments in a month.
What payment modes are acceptable by SBT Japan?
Because of high frequency of credit card fraud, we don't prefer the payments through credit card for
huge amounts (Not more than $10,000). However, for any amount you can freely transfer your payment through Telegraphic Transfer or
Bank Transfer.
In how many days will I actually get my car?
There is no exact time for this as it completely depends on the shipping schedules. However, we do
ship on the very first available vessel. Usually it takes 4 to 8 weeks from the time of purchase to deliver.
What are the criteria to become a registered member of SBT Japan?
Any one who is an automobile dealer, exporter, vendor, or an end-buyer can apply for the membership.
However, for a private car buyer, we suggest you to check your country's regulation before purchase. We are not professional about
your country's law. We are not liable to offer advice, or introduce you to any car importer or clearing agent in your country.
Is there any membership fee?
No. There are no fees or hidden charges. So don't hesitate and sign up
now.
If I purchase a vehicle for $ 2,000, what other extra charges are there?
FOB and CIF price includes all the costs to get the car on the vessel and leaving the port. Once
your vehicle arrives at your nearest port, you have to pay, compliance, registration, duty, taxes and freight collected and any
other cost depending on the regulation in your region.
Can I import LHD vehicles from SBT Japan?
LHD vehicles are very rare in Japan. Usually LHD vehicles are imported from countries like US,
Europe and Korea. However, you can see fair amount of LHD vehicles in Korean and American Stock.
Can I cancel the car I purchase by myself?
When a customer cancels his/her order, we may have to resell that car in auction or by any other
way. As you cancel the purchase, you have to bear the difference of price and other costs that may occur.
Is there any checking of the vehicles before shipping?
All the vehicles are thoroughly checked to confirm if there is any major difference from the
evaluation sheet.
